Poor health and health facility, Malnutrition and lack of hygiene was the reason to start the mission among the people. To give them God’s healing care And to lead them in to human dignity.This Hospital, Arokia Madha Nilayam has a story to share as another mile stone crossed in the history of our province and the long awaited dream of many who are alive as well as gone before us to God, of having a hospital in our Province. July 15th dawned for us with celebration note, the inauguration of our hospital building. A large number of our sisters from all the communities of our Province and from south west Province, Bishop of Salem and the priests around, well-wishers, friends, family members, Doctors and parishnors, it was a huge crowd to witness to the grand opening. It all began with prayer and unveiling of the name plaque, blessing and ribbon cutting by Sr. Norah and Sr. Jocelyn together, followed by ribbon cutting of different department by our previous Provincials then blessed by Bishop, Fr. Bonal, and Fr. Theodore. This was followed by the solemn high mass of feast of Blessed Anne Marie. During the homily Bishop appreciated our presence and service at the periphery and invited to be more open and friendly to the people by going to the peripheries and experience the reality of our people of our locality. After mass refreshment was served to one and all then we had a short cultural programme by our students from R.C. Primary school, Gangavalli under the able guidance of Sr. Jacuqline. We were happy to felicitate the dignitaries and the superiors of the community from its infancy, of course the Engineer, supervisors and workers who shed their sweat through all seasons.

This was followed by sumptuous meal to one and all. Thus the day ended in happy note and in wonder. Though we had the inauguration on July 15th, we really started functioning in the new premises from August 15th again under the mantle of our Lady of Good health. We have now few more staff recruited and we also have DNA students from a nearby institutes for their training.
